The period of 28th Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq Syedna Shaikh Adam Safiuddin (R. A) (1021-1031/1613-1622) was relatively peaceful. He remained busy with the guidance of Moomineen and to spread of knowledge.
During thhe period of Syedna Abdul Tayyib Zakiuddin (R. A), Ali ibne Ibrahim went astray. He went to the court of Emperor Jahangir and complained there that Syedna had declared Bara'at against him. He slander against Syedna Zakiuddin in order to gain the sympathy of the emperor and his vazirs. Vazirs of the emperor were of opinion of reconcilation between Syedna and Ali bin Ibrahim. Syedna Zakiuddin (R. A) were invited by the emperor to his court. When Syedna (R. A) reached there, he was received with respect and honour. Syedna Zakiuddin (R. A) stayed there for some time and the emperor observed his piety and good manners. He listened to Syedna's explanations and arguments and realized the falseness of Ali bi Ibrahim's slander. Finally, on the recommendation of the emperor, Ali bin Ibrahim begged pardon to Syedna Zakiuddin (R. A), and on tthe earnest desire of the emperor, Syedna (R. A) pardoned him. But, after reaching to Ahmedabad, he again astrayed and claimed his own Dai-ship. During the period of Syedna Abdul Tayyib Zakiuddin (R. A), the deputies of Ahmedabad were Shazada Dawar Bakhsh, Saif Khan, and Khan Jahan Lodhi. In 1627, emperor Jahangir died and he was succeeded by his son Shah Jahan (1627-66). Abbas Shah of Persia captured Baghdad from Ottomans in 1623. In 1624, England declared war on Spain. In 1625, James iv of England died and he was succeeded by Charles 1(1625-49).
